Graceland's Table – Recipes Fit for the King of Rock and Roll

Graceland’s Table is the first cookbook written with the full cooperation of Elvis Presley Enterprises.  The book includes photographs of Elvis at home and full-color food photography depicting recipes actually prepared at Graceland.  The 175 recipes come from two sources: EPE’s archives of Elvis’s favorite recipes and Elvis’s fans from around the world.  Fans submitted a recipe they would have liked to cook for Elvis should they have been invited to Graceland for a meal.  Many recipe titles depict a favorite song such as Love Me Chicken Tenders, Colonel Parkerhouse Rolls, and Blue Suede Berry Pie.  Special features include interview with people who knew him well such as Joe Esposito, Elvis’s road manager, Patty Perry, the only female member of the Memphis Mafia and Marian Cocke, Elvis’s nurse. Several interviews are with people who reveal “first told” stories about the king of rock and roll.  This cookbook is a great read, along side fully-tested recipes that were carefully picked for Graceland’s table.
